Spotix Refund Policy

Ticket Refund

After purchase of a ticket, refunds are eligible the next 2-7 days. This means after purchasing a ticket, you must wait at least 2 days before requesting for a refund. Refund request logged 3 days till event date will no longer be attended to.

Merch Refund

All Merch refunds are at the discretion of the event planner. Spotix may not be able to refund merch payments already settled 

Refund Processing

We usually use 3 - 7 business days to assess and give refunds for tickets sold. Do note that transaction fees are non-refundable. We may contact you for more details as to why you are requesting a refund.

Refunding (Tickets)

After successfully processing your refund, your ticket data will be removed from the system. We make refunds to your Spotix Wallet. If for any reason you need the money sent to your account, you need to apply for wallet float.

Booker Disclaimer

As a booker, if up to 6 refunds from customers are logged for your event, we may flag your event and this may affect payouts and can even lead to us removing your event from Spotix entirely.

Refund Denial

If we don't have enough reason for your refund or you have been requesting a significant amount of refunds, Spotix may deny refund requests subsequently.

Premium features

Some products on Spotix may require payment for premium access. Such products have a 30-day refund window counting 2 days after payment

One Off features

One off features are features which some products have that requires one-time payment to access. This products are also called consumable features as they may deplete with usage. One off features are 100% Non Refundable.

Planning Error

There might be an incidence when an event gets cancelled and people have gotten tickets for said event. While the transaction fees are non refundable, we will refund money back into users wallet.

Discounts

If a user enjoyed a discount of an event and makes for a refund, we will only refund amount paid for minus transaction fees.

Refund FAQs

Depending on the amount to be refunded, the day you make the request and the volume of refunds being processed, refunds may take up to 7 days. If your refund status remains stagnant for more than 7 days please contact support.

No, we don't process refunds on weekends only on working days (Monday - Friday) between 9am - 9pm. We also don't process refunds a day before a holiday, the holiday date and the day after.

Anything refunds after the event date is at the discretion of the event planner. We usually settle event planners 24 hours after the event occurs, if for any reason usually inability to attend the event will be at the discretion of the event planner but Spotix will not entertain refunds after the event date.

Yes of course, you can track the status of the refund from the refund track page.

We may deny refunds if you have been making up to 12 consecutive refunds and my revoke your account if it gets too much.
